For sure, this will be the sentence of the year 2003 in Brazil. It was pronounced by Aparecida Marques, wife of "Pernanbuco", who killed a couple of adolescents in São Paulo some days ago.

She said her husband drank a lot. She was surprised with the cruelty of the crime and helped the police to locate and put him in jail. How many crimes are committed daily? There is no exact numbers, only an estimate.

In this case, at least the story of seven families came out to the public; both families of the adolescents and five other families of the men that helped Pernanbuco execute the crime. This is the picture of the family today. Lies, lack of love, alcohol, drugs and despair.

As a church of Jesus we try to do our part. But we feel like a bug that flies contrary to the gravity law. Ministries to the children, biblical studies for teenagers, biblical orientations for youth, couple's meetings, individual counseling and yet; it's not enough. The world and its traps continue to destroy the families.

The greater resource is to seek God's presence, the creator of the family. To ask Him for mercy, orientation and wisdom to direct our homes.
