Text : Numbers 10:29-36

Introduction.

-This is an invitation from Moses to his brother-in-law Hobab.
-It's an invitation to go to the Promised Land ,Canaan,together.
-We would like to invite you to do the same tonight.

01. Come with us because the Ark is ahead of us.

- Numbers 10:33
-Ark : The symbol of God's presence among the people.
-It was done of wood,covered inside and outside with gold.
-It was carried and taken care of by the Coatites.
-Israel had no king,nor president,nor governor.
-It was oriented directly by God.
- Application to the church today : Matthew 28:20 and John 14:16.

02. Come with us because the" cloud" hovers over us.

- Number 10:34 .
-If God is with us,we also have His protection.
- Exodus 13:21-22
-During the day,the cloud protected them from the heat.
-During the night,there was a light.A need for direction.
-In this world's desert ,we need direction.
-In the darkness of this world,we need light.
-Jesus ( John 8:12 )

03.Com with us because the Lord scatters the enemies.

- Numbers 10:35-36
-It doesn't have to be human enemies.Maybe you don't have any.
-But the greatest enemy of our souls:Satan.
- I Corinthians 15: 24-26

Conclusion:

- Numbers 10:36 : "Return,O Lord"
-The meaning of " be with us." Isaiah 43:1-2 and Isaiah 45:2-3
- Numbers 10:29 " We are on our way to the Promised land."
-According to Exodus 3:8
-What about the church?Where is it going? John 4:2
- Numbers 10:33b. God provided a place to rest for His people.
-As well as to us,in eternity.
-Hell was not created for mankind.
-Moses' invitation, our invitation, God's invitation for you today.
