- I Samuel 1:9. Eli was a merciful priest.
- I Samuel 4: 11. He had two sons, Hophni and Phinehas.
- The sons were the opposite of the father.
- I Samuel 2: 12-17. They desecrated the worship service.
- I Samuel 2: 22. They were immoral.

A) Being a father is to write a story of victories and defeat.
- Examples of fathers in the Bible.
1) Noah. Genesis 7:1. Obedient.
Genesis 9:20. Drunken.
2) Manoah. Judges 13:8. Spiritual.
Judges 14:3-5. The will to get it right.
3) Eli. I Samuel 3:9. He guides other people’s sons.
I Samuel 2:24. Fails with his sons.
- One thing is certain in our life as parents; we will make mistakes.
- Our prayer: "Lord give us the grace to commit the least possible mistakes."
- We make "well intentioned" mistakes.
- The Bible does not tell the story of "superman" but of men like us.
B) Being a father, many times is to choose between the worst and the least bad.
- The sins of the sons of Eli were very grave.
- James 1:5. Pray asking for wisdom.
- Wisdom for discern sin in the life of our children.

- Men has many functions, with certainty, being a priest is the most complex.

- Before 5 years old. 1% of chance
- From 5 to 15 years old. 85% of chance
- From 15 to 30 years old. 10% of chance
- After 30 years old. 4% o chance
- What could we do?
- We seek the perfect father. Only He can transform tragedies in blessings.
- It is good have faith in God. Not believe, and worsen things.
