Text: Luke 15:22-24
Introduction
- In Luke 15, Jesus tells us 3 parables. - The shepherd who looks the lost sheep. The woman who cries over the lost coin. The father who loves and accepts his son back. - The shepherd had 100 sheep and loses one. He loses 1%. - The woman had 10 coins and loses one. She loses 10% - The father had 2 sons, loses one He loses 50%. - Or 100% because the so was considered a slave, even though he had his father inheritance. - The idea is that in the house of the farm there was large porch. - The father seated there everyday and would look far away, waiting for his son to come back. - What is the hope of this father? "One day he will come back."
