Text: Jeremiah lamentations. 3:21
Introduction.
What is the context of this text?
- Suffering.
- Jeremiah is a prophet "on call."
What can I bring to mind today that fills me with hope?
| 1. | v.22. The mercifulness of the Lord. "Compassion for the other's misery." |
| 2. | v.25. The faithfulness of the Lord. Us unfaithful, He always faithful. |
| 3. | v.26. To know that God is in control. Wait in silence. Like Psalm 46. |
| 4. | v.27. Know that God is working on your character. Character. Firm will. Moral fabric. |
| 5. | v. 32. That God has compassion. Understand everything we feel, pain and happiness. |
| 6. | v.39. That we have to stop our complaints. Israel moaned for 40 years. |
Conclusion.
Hope: "Believe that tomorrow will be better than today. And that the day after will be even better that tomorrow."
